Work with me

Emma Brooks portrait

That’s Mental is more than a blog, it’s a platform to advocate for better mental health across the board. With that in mind, there are different ways in which I support Mental Health and we can collaborate.

Hire me as a speaker

Are you looking for someone to give a talk on Mental Health? Look no further! I give presentations, short format talks (lunch and learn), and introductory sessions on the topic. Whether it’s for an association you run, your colleagues or your friends, I can adapt it to the audience. Send me a message and we can discuss how to meet your needs. I most recently presented at DMWF Europe.

Looking for a coach?

I offer 1:1 coaching sessions in personal and professional settings. For managers, I educate on mental health and how to deal with team members who approach you with issues. For individuals, I help you get to where you want to be in life through coaching. Want to find out more? Let’s have a chat.

N.B.: personal coaching may not focus solely on mental health, it depends what topic you bring to the table. If you feel like you need more serious help addressing a mental health problem, I recommend contacting a trained healthcare professional such as a licensed therapist.

Use my writing services

I’m always happy to contribute to other sites. If you’re looking for an article about mental health you’re in the right place! Whether it’s a lived experience or a deep dive into a topic, I can help. My writing experience spans more than That’s Mental, having penned thought leadership articles for Impraise, Teva, Paazl, 3D Hubs and many more…

I’m also happy to be a guest on podcasts or videos. Whatever your choice of media, I love sharing my experience with others. You can see a selection of my contributions to other platforms here and listen to my podcast here. Get in touch, I look forward to hearing from you!

Want to share your story?

I absolutely love sharing other people’s stories, being a journalist of some sorts. You can check out my mini series on mental health or my spotlight on men’s mental health, both of which allowed me to bring to light a beautiful variety of perspectives on mental health. I always welcome a guest blog, so do not hesitate to get in touch.

Don’t know where to start? Don’t worry. As editor I can set up a series of questions for you, help you find a topic to cover, and work with you on your article until you’re happy with the finished result.
